Best Kept Skin Care Secret

A friend of mine recently sent me an article on the most effective solution to dry skin.

And it was surprising to learn that Vaseline does more than prevent nappy rash.

It is actually the best kept skin care secret out there.

According to the Harvard Health Publication on "Skin Care and Repair", dry skin is caused by loss of moisture in the skin due to aging and sun damage.

With time, the skin's ability to produce natural oils slows down, and skin begins to lose its suppleness and elasticity.

After reading this article and the article on "Vaseline for Skin Care" at Livestrong.com, I became particularly curious about the numerous uses of Vaseline and found 4 skin care uses:

Vaseline used as a Facial Moisturizer

Very cheap and effective, Vaseline attracts water and traps it in the skin, which prevents loss of moisture, smooths wrinkles and keeps skin looking supple. It is most effective when applied after a lukewarm shower at night, to seal the moisture to the skin.

Vaseline used as Eye Makeup Remover

Very effective at taking off eye makeup while leaving skin soft and smooth.

Vaseline used as a Body Moisturizer

Apply Vaseline before going to bed generously on your hands and feet, and cover them with latex gloves and socks respectively. You will definitely notice an improvement in  your skin's elasticity.

Vaseline used to remove Faux Lashes

It removes faux lashes gently while helping to hydrate natural lashes.
