My Androgynous Icon

You wouldn't guess what I have been listening to for the past 3 hours? Old songs from the Eurythmics and Annie Lennox....Oh so nostalgic right?....

I still remember the first time I set eyes on Annie Lennox, my androgynous icon....
It was 1992 and I was watching MTV Europe's marathon of Eurythmics videos.....And then "Sweet Dreams" came on and I was instantly mesmerized by how stunning and dapper Annie Lennox looked in a distinguished black suit and tie (and the best orange hair I had ever seen).....She made masculinity look so good.....I truly believe that was the very moment I fell in love with all things androgynous.....

Like Annie Lennox, I am all about wearing men's clothing. Yes, I sometimes buy my clothes from the boys department at Macys:) I just find it alluring to see a woman evoke the same power and confidence as a man.....As they say, "you are what you wear" right?

So what do you think about androgyny? Beautiful or not so much?
